Sammi's first letter home!!
Hello!
How was the ride home? From the moment I walked in the door I have felt completely comfortable and loved. Walking through as a new missionary there were people at every single corner to guide you through. It felt a lot like the Temple. My companion is Sister Gardner from Washington. So far, we get along great! There are 6 of us in one room. Three of us are going to Ft. Lauderdale. One is from Texas, and the other is my companion from Washington. One sister is from Illinois and going to Phoenix. Another is from Oakland and going to New York, New York. The last is from Fiji and going to California Santa Rosa. She's like the mom of the room. She's so sweet. My companion is 26 years old, and the other sister that is coming with us is 25. They are all so nice and we get along great!
This day has been a little overwhelming with everything that we have to remember. Everyone says by Sunday though everthing will be less chaotic.
It still doesn't feel real yet. It feels like I'm at EFY, the only difference is you can't flirt with the boys. HaHA.
So, my companion is the Sister Coordinator. It's like the District Leader-ish, but jsut for the sisters in the District. Our district seems very cool so far. There are only us four girls and six Elders. Only one of the Elders is going to Ft. Lauderdale, all the rest are going to Phoenix.
I'm having a ton of fun so far! It's a lot of work, but it keeps us busy! I'll write again soon! I love you!
Love, Sam
She sounds great thanks for sharing! How are you holding up??
